I would like to know what's your level in this language.

Do you talk it very fluently ? Understand everything and talk a little bit less ?

Half and half comprehension, bad speaking

BUT since I love Liverpool i'm very very motivate to learn english ... I read and visit many websites in english every day (liverpoolfc.tv, football365, team talk, RAWK ...)

But you look not bad in your writing.

Personally I think I understand kind of everything in english, and can speak it well.

My writing isn't that good, though, cause I wasn't a very good listening student in my classes, when it was not a hot and young english woman from Sheffield who was the teacher ...

In your country you have more hours/week than us no ? Or you start when you are more younger ?

Well, the hours of class depend of the school that you go, but in general a typical school time is like from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

When I was younger I was going to a private school where we were having like at least 2 hours more of class than any other school.

Now I got some really less school time cause I don't have a lot of things to finish.

Yes but I spoke about the english hours in class.
Us, we are in general 3 hours a week and may be in Canada you are 5 hours a week because you live beside of US ?!

Yeah, living close to the USA have a big influence on our way to do things. People here got a mix of latin and anglo mentality, cause we are from French descent for a lot, and we got the English influence at ther borders.

That make us a bit special.

I succeed in understanding certain sentences but not very. I would well like to have this very quickly language.

Good comprehension. I learned english at school.
I think that whether I am lost in London for example, I can find my way easly.

I vote the same thing than my Arsenal mate, but like I said, I speak pretty average english not because of school, but because I read a lot in english, I watch a lot of TV in english and i m an autodidacte, don t know how to say it in english, sorry.

If you want to learn english and have pleasure, you can see a movie for example in english with the subtitles.
I did it a few years ago and it helps me a lot !

Yeah, that s a good way to advance your level, but you have to choose a film that is pretty slow motion in the way of develloppment of action.

Or just watch a movie that you have seen in french a time or few, and watch it in english.

I voted for the first option, frankly, to be honest, i think i speak english pretty fluently it may seem as an arrogant choice seeing all you guys voted for the second or third choice, but i think my level of english is very high so i'm not gonna hide it

I have finish my English lessons now. I did 2 hours of English by weeks since 6 years. In September, I will go in a superior school and there isn't English lessons.

But I'm learning more almost each days by Internet. I go often on Spurs official website and on many forums.

I speak also sometimes with english football fans by MSN. I like speak english.

I went to Dublin in March. I am well managed

I don't know a lot of vocabulary and i have a lot of difficulties to write good sentences... I think the spanish language is easier
